Frustrated - no time...and sucked dry of my energy...

You know...I have been tired...and I have
been sick and tired of being tired.

It seems hopeless. Hard to even just
get thru the day sometimes. Let alone...trying
to really accomplish something...yeah?

I wrote this as Project #4 for folks that
purchased $5 bucks a day.

It's a little personal in parts...I'm just
a dude that has been through some stuff
and worked my way out...

It feels good just putting it down and
sharing it...

And I thought just maybe, you might get
some use out of it too...

Here it is below:

Project 4- The Most Important Project
********************************

Good morning! Good to be hanging out
with you again.

How are your project(s) going?

Well...I hope!

You are doing at least one right?

If you are GREAT!

If not, listen, no scolding from me. I
know how hard it is to find the time & energy.

And when and if you get a few moments...
you want to spend them on yourself...yeah?

I know! I battled this for years.

So this week's project is about MAKING TIME
and finding ENERGY.

Now...don't boo me! Please. If you can make
an extra 2 hours a week and GET A PROJECT
done. Then you've just added to your income
just as much if I gave you another "do this do that"
project details...

Right?

And please know...if you haven't done any
of the projects yet...

THIS may be the MOST important project YET!

Okay?

Cool!

So...

Here's the BIG question.

Where can you find the time to squeeze in these
projects into your schedule?

...and sometimes more importantly how can you
find the energy and motivation?

(Now I could just say wake up earlier and
watch less tv, but we all know that is like
trying to stay on a diet. It works great. But
not long term.)

Now...I am no "time expert" and didn't go
to business school but these are the ways
I was able to free up enough time to work
on my business despite working 60 to 70 hours
a week for my boss...and finally find
my freedom.

See, Freedom is like a rocket that
expends most of its fuel(time) & energy getting off
the launching pad and breaking through the earths
atmosphere.

So here's my tips for getting off the
launching pad. They worked for me and...

I pray they work as well for you too.

1. Hire it out! Sometimes I really think
my gardener is responsible for my
success.

Seriously. I started having success once
I started spending the time I used to spend
on mowing, raking, trimming, and all other
outside chores... on my business.

Even better...

It has the DOUBLE BENEFIT of leaving
you with EXTRA ENERGY!

My gardener costs roughly $100 a month. That
is ONE PROJECT. Think about that!

And since the projects are residual. Once
you have done the one project. Your "gardener
is paid for" and you are still free to
do more and more projects.

(It's like you are getting your lawn mowed
free now.)

I can say it is truly AMAZING how much
I got done and how much better my frame of
mind was/is after I got that monkey off my
back.

So what is your biggest "time monkey"?

Can you hire it out?

I BET YOU CAN!

And yes. I know you have to be concerned
about affordability.

Obviously...some things like hiring out
the cooking...would be quite expensive.

...and if that is a big time monkey...you
might have to wait until you have a few
projects under your belt:-)

But, I bet there is at least one or two
monkeys that you CAN get off your back
RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!

Imagine if you just didn't have to do the
laundry? Don't just say you can't afford it
okay? Do some calling around, get some estimates,
you will probably be quite SURPRISED.

You can hire a book keeper to pay the bills
or have them all debited electronically.

If you REALLY can't afford to hire the
whole house cleaned. Have just the bathrooms
and kitchen done...or just the vacuuming.

Did you know most towns, even my tiny town
has errand services. Yes! You can hire someone
to take your dry cleaning in or pick it up. Take
fido to the vets...etc...for like $10 an hour!

There is a wonderful benefit to this too,
that I think can only be believed when you
experience the phenomenon...

And that is the feeling that you "start to
see some light at the end of the tunnel"
which gives you even more energy!...more time
and accelerates you faster to becoming the
SUCCESS that you have dreamed of for so long.

You can actually see the launching pad BELOW
YOU NOW! And can start seeing the blue sky ahead.

Then with the momentum. You get more monkeys off your back.
And become what people think is like this "human
dynamo".

Now, a WORD OF WARNING!

Do NOT try and hire family members or
just delegate to family members.

Maybe your family is different than mine.

I love them dearly, but I tried to have Eric
mow the lawn and it caused way MORE problems,
MORE headaches and MORE stress.

He would forget. Wouldn't do his best work. Or
moan and complain the whole time.

Far easier to find a professional gardener
and PAY HIM...okay?...just believe me.

2. Get 20 minutes a day exercise! This one
is HUGE!

If you are not getting exercise already take
your first time savings and BEFORE you invest
that time in anything else. Invest it in focused
exercise.

Running around doing errands or chasing kids
...does NOT count.

My exercise routine SAVED MY MARRIAGE
as well as gave me a ton of EXTRA TIME
and EXTRA ENERGY.

Here's why:

I was working myself to death mostly 70 hour
work weeks or more when you added my "on call"
time.

And I was sooooo grumpy...agitated and
sometimes just downright nasty to my
family.

I felt under so much pressure and stress.

Jeannie and I would argue about something
silly for nearly an hour or more a week.

I am so ashamed when I think about it now.

and...I knew...and thankfully Jeannie knew
that I was not my "happy go lucky" self.

One evening we decided to go out and play
some badminton in the yard...and we were
running around acting like fools and just
having a great time.

And afterwards...I just FELT so good...elated
even...

That's when it really hit me...that I had
completely abandoned all of my exercise.

So...I made a commitment to walk, run, do
tae bo, ANYTHING for at least 20 minutes
a day.

Not even for my health. Just because it put
me in a better frame of mind.

I became a NEW MAN (according to Jeannie)
. Really my old self. But...it made such a
dramatic difference in my outlook on life.

The way I treated my family improved dramatically.

And...

I also got a multitude of SIDE BENEFITS.

**Just NOT arguing over dumb stuff gave me
HOURS every month...and UNTOLD amounts of
energy. I don't know about you, but arguments
are completely energy draining for me.

**With a clearer mind, I made less mistakes
at work and at home that saved me many hours
of redoing or fixing mistakes. (I forgot the
electric bill once for example that wastes about
six hours!)

**My very best and most profitable ideas come
to me when I am exercising.

**and I could go on and on...

Where do you start?

With what you know...or what you think would
be fun.

Fast walking.
Getting the Pilates DVD you've been wanting
Taking that martial arts class
Getting back on that rusty bike
etc...

Just make sure there is aerobic benefit to
it.

When I started I could barely run a mile.

Today...I am running 15 miles a week and
weight training 3 days a week. Which I am
doing because I want to. And because by doing
1 and 2 above and using that time to build my business
...I now have the time!

3. I am sure you have heard of make a list
and put priorities on your list...etc...etc.

You know. That really works. When you do it.

I just can't do it consistently. I think
it has something to do with "taking my freedom"
away.

Weird huh?

Even though I made the list. When I go to
do it the next day...I feel like I am my
own slave!

I know I still have work to do in that area.

In the meantime...this really has helped me.

TIME CHUNKING.

If you break up your day...you usually have
only a few categories of stuff that you do.

Remember when you can to "hire out" any time
monkeys that you can.

But for example one of my big ones is "correspondence"...

For email I do this once in the morning and once in
the evening.

(I used to do it like 12 times a day)

I also have Private Messages from forums which
I am trying to answer once per week.

etc...

But the key is to think about...or even better
to write down what you do in a day...and categorize
it.

Then try to put them into continous blocks of time.

This is so much more efficient...and for me
doesn't have the same restrictions as writing a
priority list.

(I do use a list of stuff that I MIGHT forget that
is different from the norm of my day)

If you can use the priority list method, by all
means use it.

Otherwise...

This may be your alternative because you are
still forced to look at how you are spending
your time and can't help but notice that if
your main goal is to get more visitors to your
blog...that answering email ain't gonna help ya
a bit.

So...

Here's your project for the week (repeat as
necessary)

1. Get one time monkey off of your back!
2. Once you have that time monkey off...put
the first time savings into your EXERCISE PROGRAM.

***remember, this will make MORE TIME not less! it
is counter-intuitive************

DO IT THIS WEEK! okay?

After you have your exercise program in place.
Put that time into your PROJECTS. You should
not only have time now. But, feel invigorated,
refreshed and ready!

3. Chunk your time into similar activities. Don't
spend your precious business building time checking
sales statistics 15 times a day.

Okay? Cool?

I hope I didn't come off as a smart alec, or a
know it all during this project.

That certainly is not my intent. This is what
has worked for me. It has worked way better
than I could have ever imagined.

And I wanted, in my excitement, to share with you.

There will probably be some software programs to obtain as well. Each service uses some different ones, but most need a word processing program, excel program, and some use a web designing program.

You should consider an Instant Messaging program for those clients who like to be able to contact you instantly without having to use the phone to call or wait for an e-mail response.

How do you get started?

First thing you want to do is decide on the type of service you plan to offer your clients. Jot down everything you can think of that shows you have some experience or knowledge in that particular field.

Next, get your website created. Showcase your skills or experience on your site and provide clients with testimonials from other people who have used your skills and were pleased with the results. Place your rates and any other information about how you run your business.

Market your site on various places on the internet to get your online business out there for potential clients to find and check out. When clients contact you to hire you for whatever service they need, reiterate to them how things will go.

Say I want to become an affiliate for bikers, here's

I go to Google and type in:

bikers + affiliate program

Just like that!...first result that shows up is info on? You
guessed it, how to become an affiliate for bickers.

Now...

If the program has two words or more...you might want to
use quotes...

"Bickers Box" +affiliate program

You will find 80% of what you are
looking for that way.

If all else fails, go to the site itself and look on the
menu for a link.

It can not be easier than that.

Here's two tips, that should really be rules!

1. Clickbank is great, Clickbank is cool, Clickbank sends me a lot
of money, BUT...there is way MORE than Clickbank! Billions of
dollars are being spent on cell phones, supplements of all kinds, expensive
home theater equipment...and so much more...

And you know?...if you are used to sales ratio's like 1:100 (or less), you
will really be surprised at the conversion ratio of a hot supplement. 1:10, 1:20,
are not uncommon in my campaigns.

Now...if you go to Commission Junction, independent affiliate programs and
other places...you are going to find that you do NOT always get automatic
approval....

Which brings me to tip 2:

2. Pick up the PHONE. It works wonders for so many things in this business.
But, not to divert from our little topic here. If you get turned down or don't hear back, get the phone number and give 'em a holler. Tell them you use articles, PPC
or whatever...

I know that this is exactly how a member just got approved by Commission Junction at Wealthy Affiliate, he picked up the phone...and got approved.

Do you see how you can make so much more money? If you are not
limiting yourself to just CB?

I know that when I see new folks at Wealthy Affiliate sign up for CJ, they
come back and say something like "I feel like a kid in a candy store."

I mean, if someone wants a "diet pill" and you are trying to sell them a book
on dieting...Do you see the big problem? The big disconnect?

They are saying I want product X...and some marketer is trying to push
a book down their throat.

Not only is it frustrating for the customer, it makes a "Bum" want to cry!

...and the saddest part is...

That if the "Bum" would have even done a "sloppy" job of presenting
Product X that the customer was searching for in the 1st place...the customer would have bought and been happy...and the "Bum" could take the knife from her wrist!

'Cuz she just made a SWEET commission and doesn't feel like she is
doomed to a life of slavery...

She realizes all you gotta do...is...

Find a group of people that want something (real bad), go out and find it (which is usually not going to be at Clickbank)...and tell the group of people "here it is! here
it is"

And if she can do that...she can make an o.k. living on her own...without some
butt head boss telling her when she can go and take care of her family, go to the
bathroom and working her until she is soooo tired that she is a grumpy with
the people she really loves when she gets home...

Feel me?

AND...if she learns to present a little better and a couple other basic marketing
techniques...She can become wealthy AND live life on HER OWN TERMS!

How cool is that?

I will further offer them another product that is a component of the first offer but with a different twist and so on.
List building involves building relationships.I am not boasting but I am into niches that oyinbo's call and send me mails for honest advice.I give them the best I can and also purchase from me affiliate products I recommend.

You will write about 7 messages giving a clear cut information relating to the product you are offering and offer them them the product at the end of your mails.

What you are only doing is pre-selling your offer.
That is the job your e-mail messages does.

The simple truth is that most people will not buy on the first day.But as you build relationship and educate them why they need your product they will buy in most cases after the fourth e-mail.Because they now know why they need the product.

Once the messages have been written.Upload on an auto-responder.You can get one at www.aweber.com or www.getresponse.com

The job of the autoresponder is to send your mails on schedule to the recipients even when you are not available.
It also keeps the data of you subscribers and let you know how many of them actually reads your mails.

"The last two articles I wrote didn't get on Google...forget it!"

"What? Ezinearticles won't allow links to UsFreeAds anymore? I give up!"

...NOW LET ME SAY...folks, these are just red lights! YEAH...IT BLOWS!

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

But what you don't do is get out of the car...right? You go somewhere
(in private is best)...you blow off any steam...cuss...rant...rave...

But stay in the car dude!

Let's take an example:

Whatever!!!!

So you figure out another route...which there are many:

Those are JUST three ideas. Three different routes. I have tested
them all and they all work great.

You can do a ton...you can add video, audio, opt-in forms...and
it's free.

There are a few limitations...like you can't change the font size
after you start the blog (on wordpress.com hosted on their site)...

But hey...it's free...and it works...

My point is that there are always work arounds...you just GOTTA
THINK LIKE A BUM...and STAY IN THE CAR...

You know, maybe you are making some profit now...this may be the
catalyst that spurs you to invest in YOUR OWN WEBSITE...

Which is a HUGE positive step in your business.

Now...I don't want to come off as a smarty pants or know it
all...

I do NOT know it all...

But in my 39 years on this Earth (it's my Bday on the day I wrote this),
and over 20 years of business experience...

Here is something very important that I have learned:

YOU DO NOT NEED MONEY TO START A BUSINESS AND BE SUCCESSFUL!

What do you need?

1. BIG BRASS CAJONES or if you are a lady GUTS!

2. DETERMINATION and PERSISTENCE OF A BULL DOG!

3. and what will multiply your success rate?...INGENUITY! If
you can't go over...you go under!...or to the side! or through
any obstacle that dares stand in your way.

So...for you math freaks...

take...

BIG BRASS CAJONES + DETERMINATION X INGENUITY = How much you
get of ANYTHING you want!

I live and breathe this everyday...

Who the hell am I to submit an article to Entrepreneur Magazine?

Who do I think I am to submit an article to Entrepreneur Magazine
not once...but SIX TIMES!

Hell...I don't even know if they are getting it...so next time, I
am going to FED EX it...in the strangest darn container I can find!

Maybe a 4 foot long cylindrical tube.

If that doesn't get me a response...I might just have it delivered
in the G-Strings of a couple hot strippers.

Yeah...I am just a redneck from Arkansas...I don't give a damn! One day
I am going to get my article in Entrepreneur Magazine, even if it
means I have to buy the darn publication to do it!

Ever see a Mother lose track of her youngster? Maybe
it has happened to you?

I don't care how meek that Mom is...when she can't
find her youngin' she will ask the biggest

Will she stop at the 5th stranger she asks...hell no
she is not going to stop until she finds her baby!

THAT IS THE MINDSET you need to have to break free an

Now I have a hungry market in my finger tips, and I know exactly what they want.
The next thing I will do is fill that need.

In the 1990’s Nigerians used the telephones that was solely managed by NITEL. The telephones were ok but had its draw backs. One will have to be where the telephone was before you received a call.

It was also a Herculean task to call someone in an emergency. MTN saw a market that needed to make calls every where you go. So they brought a more improved service that did not only make Nigerians call any where but also introduced flexibility in communication.
The point here is that Millions of Nigerians wanted COMFORT and Ease in communication and MTN met that need.

And the rest is history today. The telecom industry is one of the most vibrant industries in Nigeria today.

How Do You Meet A Need.

1.Look for what is available for the market.
2.What are the short comings of the available product.
3.How can you improve on the existing products.

These are just the basics.

Depending on what the market wants,I prefer to sell information.

This is what I do to create one.

1.I look for information in forums.
2. I have 4 lovely sites that I visit for information.One of them is ezinearticles
and the other is www.About.com.I will keep the other two for now.

We live in a world where everybody and I mean everybody wants something badly. I do not need to elaborate to drive in my point.

A problem solver is a money maker as the saying goes. And I strongly believe in that proverb or whatever it can be called.

There are many problems around you that needs urgent solution and this serves as an opportunity for you to make money.

The first place I suggest you go is www.clickbank.com , you will have an honest assessment of what is selling and how you can create something around it and sell to Nigerians.

I will give you an example, early this year I realized how hungry the forex market was. As many Nigerians looked for ways of making money trading forex without actually trading.. It did not take me long to see what people where buying to solve that problem and that was a robot called Fapturbo.

I got a resale right to the software and put it up for sale at N7,300 when it was sold at clickbank for $147.The point here is that many Nigerians will not buy at $147 but will gladly buy at N7,300

I put it up for sale and in about two days I had sold over 12 copies and of course it did not end there.. That was just an example from my numerous exploits.

Other places you may want to check out for what people may need badly is through NEWS., bookshops and even observation. But the far easiest place is www.clickbank.com

If you really want to, it won’t take you long to find a very hungry market. Do not bother that you know little about the market just pencil it down and watch things unfold.

But I would prefer if it is market that you have an idea of. It will be very easy to come up with a solution to that problem because you already know what the market wants.

Adsense Lesson 2

In this lesson we will go over the layout for your pages and why they are a key part
of your Adsense earnings.

With Adsense you can place up to 3 ad blocks on your web page. You will find
different theories on whether or not it is most effective to have your ads blend in
with or stand out from the content on your page.

While some would say they have
better results when the ads stand out, in my opinion it is best to try and make them
blend in with the rest of the site as much as possible so that your visitors will see
them as content rather than advertisements.

Try mixing the ad blocks throughout your content to create a natural flow through
the page. The proper positioning of your ads should be done with great care. The
goal is to position your ads where your visitors are most likely to click on them.

According to research the first place most people look when they visit a website is to
the top left of the page.

Although it may seem to be a good idea to add bright borders, colors or links to
make you ads pop out on the page you will want to take in to consideration what
your visitors are looking for when they come to your site.

If they are there looking for information or a solution to a problem they would be more likely to click through on a link that appears to be content rather than one that looks like an ad. If they are there shopping for a product you may do better to have your ads stand out. Key
lesson here is....

“Always keep your visitor in mind when you are building your pages”.

Google has run tests that show horizontal ads tend to receive more clicks than
vertical ones. The idea being that a person is more used to reading horizontally. So
they are more likely to be attracted to this layout.

The larger rectangular ads that read horizontally have been proven to get more clicks simply because they are easier to read and look more like blocks of content rather than advertisements.

Another tip for ad placement: There are certain areas to place ads that are thought
to be more likely to encourage a greater click through than others. For instance:
above the page footer, below the navigation at the top of the page and on the top
left hand side of the page.

Keep in mind that near the middle above the main content is thought by many to be
best place to put your ad blocks.

Let's say that you have 3 ad blocks on your page, but still want more. What can you
do? Here comes Google's link units to the rescue. You are allowed to add these in
addition to standard 3 ad blocks without breaking any of the Adsense rules.

These link units are a great way to incorporate ads that can look like they are a natural part of your sites navigation menus, but when they are clicked on they take the reader to a page of targeted ads that are related to the topic of your site.

I know this is a lot to think about, but it is very important to take the time to think
about your page layout. If you get stuck for ideas just start surfing. See what other
sites are doing. Where they are putting their ads. You will get some great ideas.

In this lesson we will talk about building web pages with good content and why they
are an important part of making money with Adsense.
This lesson assumes that you already have a website or at least a basic theme in
mind for your Adsense pages. There are two ways that you can get started using
Adsense.

The first and easiest way is to put Adsense ads on existing pages that you already
have in place. You can do this by following the steps inside your account under the
"Adsense Setup" tab.

With this method you can start earning money with Adsense fairly quickly. In fact
you'll be amazed at the results you will be able to achieve in a very short period of
time.

The second method will take a little more time.

You will be building web pages specifically for Adsense ads. These pages will be built
with high paying keywords and high quality content.

Start by doing a keyword search to find some popular subjects, keywords or phrases
related to the theme of your website. Select the ones that have highest number of
searches.

This means that more people are typing these terms into the search
engines. The higher the number the better.

There are many tools that you can use to find profitable keywords and phrases. For
quick and easy results I like to use the keyword selector tool at Yahoo Search
Marketing – click here.

It will give you a count of how many times any keyword has been searched for in the
last 30 days. Remember the higher the better!

Now start writing articles with original content based on the keywords from your
search. If you aren't a writer don't worry.

There are many ways that you can get content for your site. You can use private label articles that you purchase, or hire a ghostwriter.

Once you have the content ready you can start building web pages around the
articles that include your Adsense blocks.
